Meet the BVRTUA Club Fit Jersey a relaxed-fit men's cycling jersey built for Australian riders who spend more time on club runs and long rides than racing in the bunch. Crafted from a super-soft spandex and breathable polyester blend with built-in SPF 50+ sun protection, it keeps you cool, comfortable and covered through everything from a winter club spin to a full Queensland summer. Every jersey also carries an original artwork by First Nations artist Jennifer Kent, making it one of the only cycling jerseys in Australia built around a genuine Indigenous story rather than a generic print.

Fit: relaxed through the body, never baggy Club Fit is cut with more room through the chest, torso and upper arms than our Race Cut jerseys, plus a slightly longer body for coverage when you're sat upright. It's relaxed without being loose — built for club rides, coffee runs and long days in the saddle where all-day comfort matters more than aerodynamics. True to size across XS–5XL, a broader range than most Australian cycling jersey brands offer; if you like extra room to layer underneath, size up.

Built for the ride:

  • Premium 88% polyester / 12% elastane blend with four-way stretch
  • SPF 50+ UPF sun protection built into the fabric
  • Three rear pockets with reflective trim
  • Non-slip silicone waist gripper keeps the jersey in place
  • Full-length YKK zipper
  • Breathable mesh side and underarm panels

About the Artist

Jennifer Kent is a multicultural Australian woman with First Nations ancestry from the Jinibara and Quandamooka peoples of Southeast Queensland. She comes from a generational family line of artists and song people, and works as a community activist in the ministry of Reconciliation. Jenny hopes her art inspires joy and happiness in everyone who sees it.

The Artwork: Buguwar-dja, "Freshwater Country"

This jersey features an original artwork centred on an abstract map of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, one of Australia's most popular rail trail cycling routes. Buguwar-dja translates to "freshwater country" in the Dungidjawu language — a fitting name, since this region supplies freshwater to many households across Southeast Queensland. The artwork weaves in local fauna and plant life along the trail, celebrating the landscape riders pass through on every lap. It's available in both men's and women's cuts, making BVRTUA one of the few Australian cycling apparel brands built around a genuine, region-specific Indigenous artwork rather than a stock print.

Club Fit vs Race Cut — which should you choose?

If you're deciding between our Club Fit and Race Cut jerseys: Race Cut is close to the body for racing and hard group efforts; Club Fit trades that snug silhouette for a more generous, all-day cut without ever feeling shapeless. Most club riders, commuters and long-distance tourers are better suited to Club Fit; racers and those chasing aero gains should look at Race Cut.

The BOWY Promise

If you're not completely satisfied, we're not either. We'll gladly exchange or refund all full-priced items within 30 days of receipt, provided they are in new, unworn, and unwashed condition with original tags and packaging. We want you to love your gear as much as we do.

Care Advice

Think of your BOWY kit like a trusted teammate it performs best when you treat it with a little care. We've included a complimentary laundry bag with your order to make this easy. Always wash your kit in cold water, below 30°C. While hand washing is best, all BOWY garments can handle a cold machine wash on a gentle or delicate cycle with a low spin.

WASHING

  • For best results, always wash your kit in the provided BOWY laundry bag.
  • Wash with similar colours, as bibs can lose a bit of dye on their first wash.
  • Zip up all zippers and fasten any Velcro to prevent snagging.
  • Use an activewear-specific detergent, or a small amount of a gentle, biodegradable one. Avoid harsh chemicals as they can shorten the life of your kit.
  • To protect the reflective elements, turn your garment inside out before washing and storing. This prevents the tiny microspheres from being damaged by abrasive surfaces.
  • Never dry clean, bleach, or use fabric softeners.

DRYING

Patience is a virtue, especially when it comes to drying your kit. Always air dry.

  • Do not twist or wring the garment.
  • Keep it out of direct sunlight and never tumble dry or iron.
